According to the Israeli volunteer organization ZAKA, Mizrahi was confirmed as the deceased civilian following the attack. In a statement, a volunteer described the incident as tragic and emphasized that the situation remains under active investigation by Canadian authorities.
Community members and representatives expressed deep sorrow over his death, remembering Mizrahi as a well-known and respected individual who regularly attended synagogue prayers.
