Dimple Dell Fire Today, SANDY, UTAH — A grass fire near the Dimple Dell area in Sandy prompted evacuations and a large emergency response as firefighters worked to quickly contain the blaze and protect nearby homes.
Fire crews responded to reports of flames near Dimple Dell Lane on Saturday morning, according to Sandy City Fire Department officials. The fire broke out in dry vegetation near residential areas, raising immediate concerns due to the proximity of homes and open terrain.

However, at least one home remained under a precautionary evacuation order even after containment was achieved, as officials continued to monitor hotspots and ensure the fire would not reignite or spread further.
